Week of March 19th News!

Hello Band Family,

I hope you all are spending some time with family and friends and getting some well deserve rest. First off, I wanted to congratulate the symphonic band with their concert at Delta College! This is the first time the band has received “box 1” superior performance playing! The String Orchestra continues to improve and received positive reviews from the adjudicators.

The WP and WG groups continues to do well and had great performances at the Woodcreek Show. For the first time ever, we had 6 members participated in the Drum Major field competition. All did great and was exciting to watch them all. 2 DM’s  placed in the top 3.

Lodi Rotary Fundraiser: need 12 band members to help serve at the Japanese Center @4:30pm. Must wear black pants, black shoes, and white long sleeve shirt. ( more details to come at 3/20 meeting)

Who are the Boosters? If you are reading this and you are a parent/guardian/fellow alum or family member of a current Lodi High instrumental music and/or guard student…YOU are! The LHS Boosters Inc. is a non-profit organization and the primary financial support for the Lodi High School instrumental music & guard programs. Every parent/guardian of every music & guard student is an honorary non-voting member of the booster club. The LHS Boosters provide the services and goods that the music programs need to exist. Without the support of the LHS Boosters, these programs would fall apart. We highly encourage all parents/guardians/family/alum to become actively involved in the Boosters in whatever way works for YOU, no assistance will be turned down! The LHS Booster Board meets every 2nd Tuesday of each month in the music room, we look forward to seeing you there.
