Update on Calendar of Events and more!

Hello Band Family,

Some new updates that came up. Please make changes to your schedule.

1. See’s Candy will be arriving TODAY after school. Dawn Taylor will have them ready for you.

2. Music exchange with Garfield HS has been cancelled for April 5th.

3. WP Rehearsal is back on the calendar for April 5th.

4. WP & WG members. If you haven’t done so yet, come to the band room and pick up the in-school pre-arranged excused slip where you get your teachers signatures. We will be having our Annual WP/WG show case for all PE CLASSES on Friday, April 6th.

IMPORTANT!!!!
This slip is due THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 30TH. IF I DON’T RECEIVE IT, YOU WILL NOT PERFORM!!!

Lodi High Music Boosters

Who are the Boosters? If you are reading this and you are a parent/guardian/fellow alum or family member of a Lodi High music student…YOU are! The Boosters is a non-profit organization and the primary band support for our music programs. Every parent/guardian of every music student is an honorary member of the booster club. The Boosters provide the services and goods that the music programs need to exist. Without the support of the Boosters, this program would fall apart. We highly encourage all parents/guardians/family/alum to become actively involved in the Boosters in whatever way works for YOU, no assistance will be turned down! To let us know how you can help, please click here to complete our volunteer form. Our students greatly appreciate it AND we are a fun group of people to hang out with! The Boosters meets every 2nd Tuesday of each month in the music room, we look forward to seeing you there. Examples of items that the LHS Boosters have help finance include: Instrument purchase and repair Percussion Instruments Guard flags / Band uniforms / Winter Percussion / Guard costumes Drum Major training Transportation fees Food / beverages at Field Band and Winter Percussion competitions Honor Band Equipment/Instrument transportation Band T-shirts Props / Backdrops for competitions Awards Banquet Jazz Social Entry Fees for Competitions Coaches salaries
