Who are the Boosters? If you are reading this and you are a parent/guardian/fellow alum or family member of a Lodi High music student…YOU are! The Boosters is a non-profit organization and the primary band support for our music programs. Every parent/guardian of every music student is an honorary member of the booster club. The Boosters provide the services and goods that the music programs need to exist. Without the support of the Boosters, this program would fall apart. We highly encourage all parents/guardians/family/alum to become actively involved in the Boosters in whatever way works for YOU, no assistance will be turned down! To let us know how you can help, please click here to complete our volunteer form. Our students greatly appreciate it AND we are a fun group of people to hang out with! The Boosters meets every 2nd Tuesday of each month in the music room, we look forward to seeing you there.
Examples of items that the LHS Boosters have help finance include:
Instrument purchase and repair
Guard flags / Band uniforms / Winter Percussion / Guard costumes
Drum Major training
Food / beverages at Field Band and Winter Percussion competitions
Props / Backdrops for competitions
Entry Fees for Competitions
The new Band Director, Bernadette Dempsey, will be distributing information on how she will be broadcasting, via social media, information to parents and students via a handout that all parents should be provided. Please refer to her for any concerns on the delivery of this information.
If you have not already done so, please have your Field Marching uniform dry cleaned and keep and attach the receipt. ASAP dry cleaners offered to clean the two pieces for $8, mention Yanet Zafra-Avila’s name, who received this quote from Margarita at ASAP cleaners. Please be sure to do this and return at our first Saturday band camp (August 17th) with your name on them. Same with any outstanding tuxedos.
Also, ALL checked out/borrowed instruments need to be returned on July 24th to be inventoried and inspected and then re-checked out under the new band director.

Funding Factory – Ink cartridge recycling. There is a box in the band room, click HERE for a current list of which cartridges are accepted. First off, I would like to say, “thank you” to all of you for my last year at Lodi HS. Parents, I appreciate what you’ve done for the music program and for the students. Thank you for providing them with the support and memories that will last for a lifetime. It’s been a wonderful coaster ride through my 8 years and I’m proud to say that I’m truly happy for what I’ve accomplished here for the instrumental music programs. Starting from my first year and seeing the challenges, dedication, and commitment that we, the parents, students, and instructional staff has contributed, really shows how much improvements and growth has come along. So, again, I thank you all and best to all my SENIORS wherever life takes you.
